Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Montreal QC (Hybrid)

We have partnered with an up-and-coming tech start-up that is transforming the influencer marketing industry through the development of Ai driven technology. While working with some of the top brands in the gaming world, they are on a mission to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that are disrupting the industry. We're assisting them in the search for a senior full-stack engineer to join their growing team.


The Role:

• Design and develop highly scalable, performance-oriented, and maintainable web applications using JavaScript, NodeJS, VueJS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
• Lead and mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting best practices in software development
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code
• Continuously improve existing applications by identifying areas for optimization and refactoring
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for your projects
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive
• Support and maintain production systems, including troubleshooting and fixing issues as they arise

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and VueJS
• Extensive experience with databases, including MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Experience with Git or other version control systems

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of the gaming industry either as a gamer or content creator
• A passion for hobby projects and a desire to constantly learn and improve
• Experience with AI-driven solutions or influencer marketing platforms
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing your hobby projects
