Our rapidly growing Semiconductor IP client is looking to recruit an Sr Application Engineer. This is an applications position where you will be testing and characterizing SERDES IP.
 

Responsibilities:

• You will provide first-line customer-facing post-silicon bring-up support
• Work closely with R&D to provide updates to PM when required
• Provide remote and onsite post-sale silicon bring up support to customer worldwide
• Provide pre-sales customer support for evaluations, demonstrations, roadshows
• Perform silicon testing on customer-driven test cases
• Work with FW/HW/SW engineers to develop, test and verify FW and SW updates (ie. GUI, API, MATLAB)
• Work with internal teams to resolve customer silicon sightings

Requirements: 
 
- Hands on lab experience testing digital and analog circuits
- SERDES Characterization and Validation
- Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JBERT, Jitter, Signal Analyzer
- Scripting knowledge (Perl, Tcl)
- GUI Interface platform (LabWindows)
- Programming experience with C, C++
Qualifications:

- BSc in Electrical Engineering
- 1-3 years experience working in a semiconductor company (ASIC)
