Full Stack Web Developer - Toronto

Our North York based SaaS client is disrupting the real estate industry for the better!! A high growth start-up they are already boasting global clients, and a huge customer base. 

Be part of our client's technical team and make your contribution during all stages of the development effort: feature design, coding, QA and delivery. They are passionate about the value their products deliver for our customers and proud of their engineering craft. You will be joining a team that likes to keep their code base well architected, clean, testable and scalable.

The stack is based entirely on Typescript with Angular and Ionic on the frontend and NodeJS on the backend. They use MongoDB as the main data store and deploy to the cloud using Docker.
 

Responsibilities include

  • Develop and deliver code to development and production environments, in support of our client's SaaS product line

  • Design and create content, features and new modules (end to end development!)

  • Perform quality assurance testing; detect, troubleshoot and track content and functionality defects and front end enhancement requests

  • Research and investigate alternate solutions for improvements; analyze and provide findings and recommendations to management

  • Maintain synchronization of production and development web servers, and help guide/inform release management, and DevOps best practices 

 

Knowledge / Experience / Certification

  • 2-5 years work experience in a web environment with relevant code and development experience

  • Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript is required, any experience with Ionic, Apache Cordova is an asset (not required) 
  • Knowledge of  HTML5 and CSS3 

  • Experience with development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and project management an asset

  • Comfort in working directly with client stakeholders and leading client implementations 

  • Experience with cloud infrastructures, SaaS, API development and architecture an asset

 

Education / Professional Courses

  • Completion of a University degree or equivalent experience
