Digital ASIC Design Engineer
We have partnered with our client to assist them in bringing on an experienced ASIC Design engineer as they continue to grow. Our client delivers high performance Signal Integrity IC’s for data communications and video broadcast industries. In this role you would work alongside a collaborative group of digital, analog, and physical designers, to deliver highly integrated mixed signal IC’s. 
Responsibilities:
  • Design and RTL coding of high-speed digital circuits
  • Assessment of circuit feasibility
  • Implementation of digital subsystems including constraints creation, logic synthesis, DFT insertion, and static timing analysis
  • Support the place-and-route team to drive timing closure and debug STA issues
  • Create product and technical documents
  • Provide input to project plans and schedules
  • Work with analog engineers, system engineers and marketing to help ensure the design meets all customer and performance requirements
  • Work with Validation, Test and Product Engineers to support the validation and qualification of the end product
  • Contribute to continual improvement of design quality, productivity and methodology
Required Qualifications:
  • A B.Sc. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; 2-5 years industry experience is required
  • Knowledge of Digital ASIC design and RTL development
  • Knowledge and/or experience with object oriented languages; SystemVerilog is preferred
  • Experience with related programming/scripting languages (i.e. Python, TCL, Perl, C.)
  • Familiarity with standard implementation flow and EDA tools (i.e. Synopsys Design Compiler, Primetime, Tetramax, Formality, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of PC and Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of digital design methods
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Well organized, thorough, and detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple simultaneous responsibilities
