Full Stack Web Developer - Remote

Responsibilities include

  • Develop and deliver code to development and production environments, in support of our client's online presence and internal applications

  • Design and create content, features and Content Management System (CMS) modules in support of website administration

  • Perform quality assurance testing; detect, troubleshoot and track content and functionality defects and front end enhancement requests

  • Support administration of social media, e-commerce and SEO/marketing platforms

  • Proactively monitor applicable websites, user trends and traffic data; troubleshoot problems and ensure resolution of issues, archive and back-up content

  • Research and investigate alternate solutions for improvements; analyze and provide findings and recommendations to management

  • Perform user experience validation for sites, using site flow metrics, analytics and testing schemas

  • Maintain synchronization of production and development web servers

 

Knowledge / Experience / Certification

  • 2-5 years work experience in a web environment with relevant code and development experience

  • Knowledge of Python, Django or Flask, as well as React.js, Node.js, and other modern JavaScript languages, libraries, and frameworks 

  • Experience with development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Waterfall) and knowledge of project management would be an asset

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Appliance and monitoring tools an asset

  • Experience with cloud infrastructures, SaaS, API development, and microservice architecture an asset 

Education / Professional Courses

  • Completion of a College/University degree or equivalent experience
